Wheatgrass juice?

What is it? Why do people drink it? Is it gluten-free?

Wheat grass juice is consumed for a number of health benefits, including:
-improvement of the digestive system
-curing constipation
-prevention of cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
-removing some heavy metals from the blood stream
-handling menopause
-promoting general health
Wheat grass juice is available at juice bars and at health food stores. You can also grow it yourself and manually juice it with the right equipment. As far as I know, wheat grass juice contains no gluten (which is a binding agent in breads, pastas, crackers, baked goods, etc.). Hope this helped!

barley gluten content
Why do pre-mixed bourbon and coke cans contain gluten?

Gluten is found in some cereals (e.g., wheat, rye, barley) and their end products. Wheat grown in countries with extreme weather conditions, such as Canada tends to have a higher gluten content than wheat grown in countries where the winter is milder. Wheat flour with a high gluten content is called “strong” flour, and is used for breads, whereas flour with a lower gluten content is called “soft” flour, and is used for cakes. No gluten is contained in rice (even glutinous rice), wild rice, maize (corn), millets, buckwheat, quinoa, or amaranth. Oats and teff do not contain gluten, but are sometimes grown directly adjacent to, and/or milled on the same equipment as, other grains that do contain gluten, and so are commonly contaminated. Non-cereals such as soybeans and sunflower seeds contain no gluten.
So what the hell is it doing in an alcoholic beverage?
by the way, the product i’m referring to is cougar bourbon and cola, and it might only be available in australia.

My dad & sister are both allergic to Gluten. But to answer your question Most main stream Burbons ( i.e. Jack Daniels ) have gluten in them already! Try Wild Turkey it does not have any. at least that is what they calim. My dad drinks it and he is severally allergic to gluten!
