Blood Type Diet Revealed – Popular Diet Among Celebrities

The Blood type diet is a nourishment approach based on the person’s blood type. It became popular among celebrities, especially with the release of the book by Peter D’Adamo entitled Eat Right 4 Your Type. D’Adamo stated that the diet does not only initiate weight loss. It can also supervise the body with allergy and infection resistance leading to total good health. D’Adamo embraced the principle that the lectins in foods have different reactions with people of different blood types.

People who have type O blood are thought to be hunters. Thus, they should eat meat-rich diet. They live on physical exercise and animal protein. With their blood type, their muscle tissues are slightly leaning towards the acid side. They should consume lean, chemical-free meats, fish, and poultry. Their popular characteristics are:

1. They have the tendency to have low levels of thyroid hormone and unstable thyroid functions. Thus, people who belong to this group may have problems with metabolism and weight gain.

2. They have high content of stomach-acid, and so they digest meat easily.

3. The major factor for gaining weight among people of this group is the gluten that is present in wheat germ and whole-wheat products.

4. They possess a hardy digestive tract.

5. They cannot thrive on a dairy and grain products.

People who have type A blood are the cultivators and agriculturists. The foods that are compatible with them are vegetables, and they do well on vegetarian diets. They are predisposed to diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and heart problems. It is recommended that people of this blood group must eat organic and natural foods. Weight loss occurs when people follow a vegetarian diet and eliminate the red meats.

Their stomach acid is not high and digesting red meat takes a lot of work to complete. Red meat can only make them sluggish. Their diet must have nuts and seeds to replace the red meats. Tofu, beans, and vegetables are the essential components of their diet. The antioxidants are helpful in strengthening their immune system to fight off diseases and prevent the onslaught of harmful bacteria and viruses. The characteristics of Type A people are:

1. They have low content of acid in the stomach, and so they should remove all red meats from their meals.

2. Only selected dairy products are allowed to be eaten and these are String cheese, Feta, Goat cheese, Goat milk, Kefir, Ricotta, and Yogurt.

3. Since red meat is not allowed, the beans are good replacement for protein provision. However, not all beans are allowed. For protein on their diet, beans, lentils, and black-eyed peas are the best.

Finally, people who have blood type B are nomads. They have excellent Immune system and good digestive system. Dairy products are very compatible with their stomach digestive tract. According to D’Adamo, people who integrate the recommended dietary needs into their diet, they can live longer. A type B diet is designed to be wholesome and balanced. It includes a variety of food groups. To summarize, the following are the characteristics of type B.

1. People of this group do not do well with corn, buckwheat, lentils, sesame seeds, and peanuts because these are their major contributor to weight gain.

2. Type B people are omnivorous. To boost their immune system, meats such as lamb, mutton, venison, and rabbit are the best.

3. Sea foods are not good for them and their digestive tract.

4. Except for American cheese, Blue cheese, Ice cream string cheese, all kinds of dairy products are allowed and good for type B people’s diet.

gluten allergy rash
Looking for information on a gluten-free diet for a 2 year old with soy/milk allergies – please advise!?

My 2yr. old son was diagnosed last year with allergies to soy and dairy after I complained to his doctor that he has chronic loose stool/diarrhea, and a rash around his mouth.

We have eliminated milk/soy, and he is quite happy drinking rice milk. He still has loose stool, however, and it gets worse from time to time. He almost never has a formed stool.

The last day or so it has been bad, the only new food he’s eaten is Natural Ovens Brainy Bagels.

He tested negative to wheat, eggs and rice on a skin prick test, but I’m wondering if he has developed some type of intolerance to something?

What is the best way to eliminate gluten for a toddler? Remember he is already avoiding dairy, soy, all nuts and peanuts (siblings have allergies).

Help!

Food intolerances don’t show up as allergies, because they aren’t. Gluten intolerance, like other food intolerances, is a problem with digesting gluten – it gets partially digested, turns into opiate-like substances in the gut, and can leak into the blood stream and cause all sorts of nasty symptoms, from diarrhoea on through to autism spectrum disorders.

But on the other hand, if all he has is softish stools, that’s not really a big problem, and if he has always had that, and there are no other symptoms, I’m not sure if it’s worth cutting out gluten on top of all the other things. It’s not easy to replace the carbs and protein, plus all the vitamins and other nutrients which wheat products are usually fortified with.

Doctors usually want to know if there is a major change in the bowel habit. You haven’t seen a major change. This may just be natural for your son. The bowel habit does differ from one person to another, and it may be that the diet he is on is just fibrous enough to make this happen.

Celiac disease is an autoimmune digestive disease that damages the villi of the small intestine and interferes with absorption of nutrients from food.
Celiac disease is triggered by consumption of the protein called gluten, which is found in wheat, barley and rye. No Info appears on the web for this product.
