is gluten good or bad for you
I’m getting bad sugar cravings the day after I have been training hard, how can I avoid this?

I am fitter than the average person, I do hard weight training with a PT 2 times a week for about 45 mins which I have been doing for 2 years. I also do body Combat for an hour 2-4 times a week. I am gluten intollerant so it’s hard to get enough of slow burning fibre in my diet as I can’t eat wholegrains (no wheat, barley, rye or oats). I eat a lot of varied veg and proteins but still get bad sugar cravings in the afternoons the day after training. Any suggestions how I can avoid these? Do I need to add more carbs to my diet and if so do you have any good suggestions on what?

You can try eat some sweet fruits, like apple, pears, watermelons, which will increase your fructose levels. You can also try to eat directly a tablespoon of honey.

Good Question: What’s so bad about gluten?

gluten free diet list of foods
gluten free?

has anyone ever tried the Gluten-free diet, How much weight can you lose from it? and is there a list of foods that someone can tell me?

It is not at all recommended you use a gltuen free diet for weight loss–do not believe or buy into the cheap magazines that say so. The Gluten Free Diet is not a diet but a lifestyle that is ONLY for those who cannot eat gluten for these reasons:
1. Celiac Disease
2. Gluten Intolerance or allergy
3. Autism Spectrum Disorder

It is not advisable to do the GF diet if u dont need it medically bc u lack vital fibers, grains and whole grains u have to find elsewhere. (Celiacs have a higher rate of osteoporosis and need fiber supplements bc u dont absorb nutrients when u have Celiac and are eating gluten. Therefore, many Celiacs who begin the GF diet end up GAINING weight bc their body finally absorbs what it needs.)

It is not a smart thing to do unless u NEED to.

And for all Celiacs out there–it pains us to see ppl deprive themsevles when they dont have to!! Do u know how many Celiacs would hurt someone for a piece of pizza hut pizza??

Eat smart, move more= lose weight.

a tasty menu gluten free cuisine
Mac out
Over the past few years, I’ve repeatedly written about high-end celebrity chefs who are opening restaurants much more casual than the flagships that made them famous. The trend of making food more accessible to the general public is one of the few good things to come out of this lousy economy. And local restaurateur Marcello Mauro is the latest to jump on the bandwagon. It’s true that Mauro’s …
